Customer Service Representative

DEPARTMENT: SERVICE
LOCATION: BOISE, ID

Essential Job Functions:

The purpose of this position is to act as the liaison between the customer and Trinity Trailer including tasks such as answering phone calls, pulling parts from our warehouse, and facilitating paperwork. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Job Functions:

  • Interact with customers in person, on the phone, and email.
  • Facilitates walk in customers with over the counter parts sales.
  • Coordinates with the parts sales agents to ensure parts for service department are delivered on time and orders are complete.
  • Provides quotes to customers for service work when requested.
  • Coordinates the shipping for service invoices.
  • Calls the customer to notify them when trailers are ready to pick up from service department.
  • Collects payment for parts invoice.
  • Relays status of trailer in service department to customer.
  • Perform customer satisfaction follow up phone calls.
  • Ensure that Company’s customer resource management database is up to date.
  • Ensures work area is organized, clean, and free of hazards.
  • Works with supervisor to facilitate paperwork flow between service and parts departments.
  • Works with supervisor to ensure consumable inventory is accurate and up to date.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to interpret work order specifications.
  • Troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate information and directions, in a clear manner.
  • Must be able to handle multiple work orders and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to analyze, read, and interpret general technical data.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Prior customer service AND sales experience required.
