A strong work-ethic, proven leadership credentials, and can manage an operation to exacting specifications. You can give direction and instruction with the big picture in mind while understanding it’s the details that make everything come together. You’ll need to be able to delegate and prioritize effectively, solve problems on the fly as they arise, and know how to get the best out of your team everyday.
As its leader, you run your squad. You are responsible for training employees on various OSHA procedures, hiring/terminating employees, directing work, appraising performance, providing the appropriate tools, and addressing and resolving problems.
We are constantly looking to improve, and you’ll be the tip of that spear, analyzing processes and procedures and recommending improvements. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and repairing industrial equipment is a must.
You’ll also oversee the company’s hazardous waste program and fire extinguisher inspections.
