National Sales Manager, New Equipment


Job Summary:

The National Sales Manager leads and manages all new equipment sales functions for the business. Effective collaboration between team members , sales leadership, customers and prospects is an integral part of success in this role. The ideal candidate proactively seeks continuous improvement, applies critical thinking to understand business needs and make decisions that are aligned with our current goals and clear the path to achieve our future vision.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Effectively lead and manage new equipment sales team by translating the company vision into a meaningful new equipment sales vision and provide the resources needed.
    • Build lasting relationships with key customers & prospects.
    • Set targets and measure performance to exceed goals: pipeline, revenue, margin, compensation, and op ex.
    • Use CRM and financial information to measure & continuously refine.
    • Develop and execute territory plans.
    • Continuously grow value to customers through feedback loops (internal & external) resulting in long-term relationships and profitability.
    • Approximately 25% travel.

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years working experience in a sales leadership position.
    • Excellent problem-solving, organization, time management, and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication (various modalities).
    • Collaboration at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
    • Experience in the agriculture equipment industry or related field, preferred.
    • Extensive experience using Salesforce, pipeline management, and growth strategies.
