VP of Operations

Job Description

The VP of Operations is responsible for plant operations, including production, safety, service, and maintenance, to ensure quality and on-time product delivery. The ideal candidate for this position will elevate the management team using their curiosity for how things are built, how long each step takes and how those items impact the financial goals of the company. The VP of Operations will achieve success by using measurables to identify, predict and solve issues for the greater good of the whole Trinity team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all plant operations to create an accountable, high-performing  team
  • Manage safety function to ensure a safe work environment
  • Ensure consistent, on-time delivery and high-quality of all products
  • Own operational P&L, capital planning, and budget optimization to ensure financial discipline and sustainable growth
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to enhance company performance
  • Provide necessary resources including tools, time, and attention to operational leaders
  • Relentlessly improve processes to strengthen team performance, product quality and financial performance
  • Ensure all company facilities are exceptionally maintained
  • Report to COO

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of a manufacturing organization from the shop floor to executives
  • Proven experience learning and understanding how systems work in a complex, manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of business financials and how actions impact financial performance
  • Experience building and using data to solve problems and seize opportunities
  • Ability and desire to work in-person, not a remote role
