MAKE OUR REVOLUTIONARY TRAILER YOUR OWN

Options and Packages to Fit Your Unique Needs

Every Trinity trailer is custom designed from kingpin to tail lights, and built by hand to meet your exacting needs. The following options are the primary ways to customize your own trailer. No matter which options you choose, rest assured that our trailers are engineered to be flexible, tough, yet the lightest weight and most durable live bottom trailers available to meet the most rugged demands.

Body Options

Build the Right Trailer to Haul What You Want, Where You Want

When it comes to your trailer design, first consider the weight per cubic yard of your product, and where you will be hauling. Each state has different requirements for Bridge law, and it is important to know what those are. You will also want to consider how the trailer is loaded. Wheel loader bucket reach, buildings you will pull in and out of, and how far the product will drop, to name a few, are calculated into the best trailer for you.

Our consultative process and knowledgeable team will walk you through the options, and discuss the recommended configuration to fit your needs. EAGLE BRIDGE® belt trailers range from 36’ to 56’ long, can have between two to six axles, and are between 9’7” to 14.5’ tall.

Belt Width

Unloading Made Easy—Take a Load Off!

Trailers come in five different belt widths, including 25”, 31”, 36”, 48” and 61”, to accommodate a wide variety of commodities and products. From potatoes, to fertilizer, to silage, each belt width is uniquely capable of unloading specific products most effectively, depending on its consistency. “A ton of feathers and a ton of gravel weighs the same,” however they unload very differently!

BELT WIDTH BEST FOR CAPACITY
25" 25 belt (1) Potatoes, Sugar Beets, Dry Fertilizer 38.56 - 108.93 cubic yards
31" 31 belt (1) Potatoes, Sugar Beets, Dry Fertilizer,
Processed Onions, Dry Grain
40.25 - 75.53 cubic yards
36" 36 belt Potatoes, Sugar Beets, Dry Fertilizer,
Processed Onions, Dry Grain, Dry Feed, Grass Seed, Top Soil, Compost
41.48 - 71.87 cubic yards
48" 48 BELT Dry Fertilizer, Dry Grain, Dry Feed, Grass Seed, Top Soil, Compost, Bio-Solids, Dry and Wet Distillers Grain, Poultry Litter, Silage, Mulch, Crushed Glass, Crushed Coal, Gravel, Sand, Tire Shreds, Auto Fluff 44.88 - 120.08 cubic yards
61" Onions 1 Dry Fertilizer, Dry Grain, Dry Feed, Grass Seed, Top Soil, Compost, Bio-Solids, Dry and Wet Distillers Grain, Poultry Litter, Silage, Mulch, Crushed Glass, Crushed Coal, Gravel, Sand, Tire Shreds, Auto Fluff, Fresh Pack Onions 47 - 123 cubic yards

Axles

Carrying the Weight

Every EAGLE BRIDGE is built with a frameless design, so there is no rigid frame from front to back. Instead, it has a specially designed side frame, top rail, kingpin, and suspension to distribute the weight of the payload, while offering up to 18 degrees of flex side-to-side (36 degrees overall).

The number of axles and suspension will be designed to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines, Bridge laws and your needs. We offer custom spreads, liftable, and lift steer axle combinations to meet max payload possibilities with your truck. EAGLE BRIDGE is lightweight, but the suspension is heavy duty.

PRO TIP
Hauling corrosive products? Ask about the liner over the suspension. This will protect brake lines, air bags, and fittings from the products on your flaps as they return to the front.

Tarp Systems

We’ve Got You (and Your Payload) Covered

The tarp system on your trailer needs to be easy to use and maintain, while protecting your products and trailer.

We offer an assortment of different tarp systems that can be customized to meet your needs. Manual or electric systems are available from the factory or aftermarket. Depending on how you are loading, a front-to-back tarp or a side-to-side tarp might fit your operation best.

We work with the top tarp manufacturers in the industry to provide you with the best solution. Whether it’s insulated tarps for cold weather, or small hook-and-loop openings for overhead loading dusty products, we will deliver the best tarp system to fit your needs.

PRO TIP
Closing your tarp will protect your liners from sun damage. A tarp is less expensive to replace than a liner.

Liners

Let Products Slide to the Belt With the Right Liner

Each product moves through the trailer differently during unloading. Some products flow fluidly, while others clump together. Some are hot from processing, and others need to be protected from the cold. The liner plays an important role in delivering your product safely to the chain and flap assembly for unloading, while protecting the life of your trailer. Trinity offers liners from the slopes, all the way to the top rail.

We offer liners in 3/16” HMW (High Molecular Weight) up to 1” thick UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight), with different properties for dissipating heat, and handling abrasive products like gravel, crushed glass, and shredded tires. HMW is the standard duty liner for a sideliner, and best for ag commodities, where UHMW is heavier duty and is standard under the chain and flap assembly and best used in more heat and abrasion-centric hauls.

Cold Weather Package

Protect Your Produce from Damaging Cold Conditions

The Cold Weather Package is designed to keep ambient warm air in the trailer as long as possible during transit. In parts of Canada and the Northern United States, potatoes must be moved in sub-zero temperatures. To protect them from freezing, the Cold Weather Package features:

BIN INSULATION: A polyfoil insulation is installed between the stainless steel sheeting and the liner on the inside of the trailer. This slows down the cooling of the trailer body and reduces freezing of your products from the outside freezing temperatures.

TARP INSULATION: As the tarp is built a layer of insulation batting is layered between two pieces of tarp material. This will help trap the ambient warm air inside the trailer up above the products in the bin.

DUAL (INSIDE OPEN) HYDRAULIC UPPER DOORS: Potato storage facilities use an extendable piler to reach inside the trailer to load the trailer from front to back. This door design gives ample space to the storage facility to reach in and load the trailer without having to un-tarp the trailer and lose the air trapped inside.

Unload Systems

Hydraulics Help Power Your Delivery

Trinity offers three different unload systems, and any combination of the three is possible.

PTO (POWER TAKE OFF) PUMP ON THE TRUCK: Hydraulic pressure is built from a pump that draws power from the truck. When the truck is on, the driver can turn a PTO pump on that pressurizes the hydraulics on the trailer. Different trailers require different pressures, but rest assured if your pump is set higher than the EAGLE BRIDGE (30 GPM and 2750 PSI) is designed for, a diverter valve will bleed the additional un-needed pressure off and circulate it back into the hoses.

ELECTRIC MOTOR: The 7.5 horse power electric motor is standard Trinity hardware when selecting this option, but higher output motors are available. When unloading indoors or at a food-safe facility, generally an electrical power source is supplied to plug in and run the electric motor to create pressure in the onboard pump. An electric motor and pump will give an even flow of pressure to the hydraulic system to turn the belt quickly and efficiently.

GAS MOTOR: The 20 horse power gas motor with a pump will build adequate pressure to turn the belt and operate the door(s). This option gives you a self-contained trailer that can unload behind any truck in your fleet without a PTO. When building your custom trailer, we will recommend adding PTO hoses to your trailer purely for resale and trade-ability.

Pair your unload system with a wired or wireless remote for added convenience, AND a whole lot more safety to unloading your trailer! Easily operate the doors and chain and flap assembly from up to 200 feet away. This is a great consideration if you operate in production facilities, or in areas that are subject to hot or cold temperatures.

Doors

Options for Multiple Haul Types and Unloading Requirements

We will consult with you to select the best rear door option for the products you haul. Whether you need to meter the payload through a slide up door, or offload 115 cubic yards of product as quickly as possible through the main door, we have the solution for you. With five different rear doors, manual and hydraulic operated options, and multiple upper and lower door functions, you can be sure it will meet your unique needs.

Custom Paint

Marine Grade Coating to Protect Carbon Steel

The carbon steel components on the trailer need to be protected from the harsh products you may haul or the corrosive chemicals on the road during winter time. That is why we only use the same marine-grade coatings used on battleships and oil rigs. The top coat of paint can be tinted to closely match your favorite truck or tractor.

AGRI-FLEX

Silage, Compost, Feed, and Beyond!

If you are chopping in the field and need a trailer that can haul more payload, unload fast, and offer all the backhaul options of EAGLE BRIDGE, you need to consider AGRI-FLEX. Available in a 48” or 61” belt, AGRI-FLEX gives you the perfect multi-purpose trailer for any dairy, feed, and compost operation.
