DOOR OPTIONS

Make Unloading Easy and Efficient

Selecting the Right Door Makes All the Difference

To ensure your trailer works optimally for your needs, Trinity offers five different rear door options. Some products load from the rear of the trailer, and some load from the top, so you’ll want to carefully consider the best door for your operation.

Full Swing Door

Manual Operated; Barn Door Style

The Full Swing Door is a simple design, but don’t overlook its quality. Its heavy-duty hinges exceed the required strength, and each door is hand-built by expert craftspeople. Choose a lower flip-up or slide-up door to meter your load, or open the full door for faster unloading.

Ideal for: Agricultural commodities (potatoes, sugar beets, and onions), feed products, fertilizer, recycled materials

Top Hinge Door

Hydraulic Operated

The Top-Hinge Door adds safety and convenience by letting operators open it without stepping behind the trailer. Add a lower flip-up or slide-up lower door to meter the load, or open the top for quick unloading. No need to meter? Skip the lower door for a simpler design.

Ideal for: Feed products, fertilizer, recycled materials

Offset Top Hinge Door

Manual or Hydraulic Operation

The Offset Top-Hinge Door, like the regular top-hinge, uses hydraulics to open the upper and optional lower doors. The difference is the hinge point: it’s moved back 18 inches to lift the door above the trailer’s top rail, adding clearance for heaped loads like mulch, wood chips, and silage. If you don’t need to meter the load, you can skip the lower slide-up or flip-up door.

Ideal for: Lightweight feed products, mulch, autofluff, wood chips and sawdust

Upper Spud Door

Manual or Hydraulic Operation

The Upper Spud Door is designed to give the operator ease of loading when utilizing a telescoping piler commonly found in potato storage facilities. The door folds down inside the trailer out of the way of the piler then can be easily folded back up and latched for transportation from cellar to processor. Now Trinity offers a first of its kind hydraulic spud door.

Ideal for: Potatoes and Sugar Beets

Dual (Inside Open) Hydraulic Upper Doors

Cold Weather Package Only - Hydraulic Operated

This innovation was developed as part of the first-ever Cold Weather Package for hauling potatoes in cold climates. Maintaining the highest possible ambient air temperature in the trailer reduces freezing when the trailer travels to the processing facility. The Dual (Inside Open) Hydraulic Upper Door offers the clearance to load with a piler indoors, and the ability to close quickly with hydraulics to capture warm air inside the bin.

Ideal for: Potatoes (cold weather)
