Job Description
Trinity Trailer is seeking a Welder to join our Fabrication team. This position fulfills an essential role in the trailer building process by building components of the trailer with precision and care. The ideal candidate for this role is eager to grow their welding skills, tenacious and takes great pride in doing an exceptional job.Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welds, such as vertical and horizontal fillet welds, with a high degree of quality and according to company standards.
- Weld and install components of the trailer according to blueprints.
- Inspect individual components of the weld, to ensure all components meet quality standards.
- Read and properly interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of company employees.
- Adhere to and ensure company policies, attendance policies, and safety regulations are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Perform vertical and horizontal fillet MIG welds, with a high degree of quality.
- Problem solve and draw valid conclusions when issues arise.
- Multitask, manage time, and work in a fast pace environment.
- Read tape measures and perform simple math such as adding and subtracting fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
Education and Experience:
- Experience or ability to read blueprints.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Experience operating a crane is a plus.
- Experience operating tools such as grinders, levels, buffers, impact guns, and D.A. sanders, is a plus.
