Yard Maintenance Technician

Job Description
The Yard Maintenance Technician performs all facets of service center support operations to keep the service technician team focused on servicing equipment. This person can expect to collaborate closely with the service team leader, to move trailers around the yard, wash trailers and perform other duties to ensure the working area and yard are well organized and maintained. The ideal candidate for this role seeks out their next task when the list is complete, has a keen eye for detail, and is comfortable working independently.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain shop yard for organization and cleanliness
- Move trailers around the yard and in and out of the shop for the service team
- Wash trailers to standard expected
- Assist Service Manager and Team Lead with other tasks as assigned and needed to keep the service technicians on task
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable completing physical work regularly (includes climbing in and out of the truck, hooking up and unhooking trailers, pressure washing trailers, etc)
- Previous experience in a service or manufacturing environment is preferred
