Job Summary
The CNC Machinist/Operator is responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC machines. This person is capable of working independently and also working very closely with a few key contributors, to collaborate on necessary topics. The ideal candidate for this role is tenacious, has previous machinist experience and is eager to learn and grow.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, program and operate CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders to determine proper specifications of parts to be machined.
- Monitor CNC machine during operation to make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Regularly check and maintain CNC mill, including cleaning and maintaining machine.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
Minimum Requirements:
- Capable of demonstrating knowledge from previous experience operating CNC machine(s).
- Interested in ongoing education regarding new technology, software and tools related to the CNC machine.
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
