Job Summary:
Trinity trailer is seeking a new Material Handler to join the Warehouse team. The Material Handler plays an integral role in the trailer building process – making resources to build available to the various production shops and for external customers. This employee is responsible for making parts available to various teams and supporting as a member of the materials team. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, works efficiently with little supervision, and has strong communication skills.
- Deliver and move materials to various locations throughout the manufacturing plant in a timely and safe manner.
- Communicate with various people throughout multiple departments.
- Ensure safety equipment is used properly and the workplace is organized and hazard free.
- Communicate areas of opportunity and improvement to team lead and supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team efforts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem solve and draw valid conclusions when challenges arise.
- Multitask, manage time and work in a fast pace environment.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Forklift operation experience is a strong plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
